Custom made lingerie is something that we love to do, here’s a sneak peek into the design process of this three-piece-set
We started off with some soft black Tulle and Ivory Lace and started sketching, after a few sketches and cutting and placing material, we ended up with the image shown below and started to refine the design in real-life. Measurements were taken at an early stage to ensure the best fit for the design, fittings at an early stage in the process ensure that time and materials were not wasted making mistakes.
The detail and finishing stage involve selecting the most suitable parts of the lace to be used in particular areas, cutting and placing features individually and hand sewing to create the final pattern. The hand finishing process for this design also featured ivory strung pearls and bows with additional pearl detailing.
